Business of Medicine

Since 1986, the Institute for Continuing Healthcare Education (the Institute), an independent medical education company in Center City Philadelphia, has been providing innovative, evidence-based, clinically relevant certified continuing education to physicians, nursing professionals, pharmacists, and other allied healthcare professionals in order to assist them in their continued commitment to maintenance of competencies, with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes. The Institute has provided certified continuing education to more than 500,000 healthcare professionals, and has developed strong strategic partnerships with leading academic centers, government institutions, national and international foundations, and patient advocacy groups.

The Institute uses its expertise to design effective, focused education in multiple therapeutic areas that positively impact both patient and community health. We believe that the planning on continuing education activities begins with the identification of educational needs for the targeted audience, which then directs the development of measureable learning and behavioral objectives.

As an accredited provided by the ACCME, ANCC-COA, ACPE, CDR, AND CaBRN, the Institute provides accreditation services to certify live and enduring activities.
